Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts series has made its way to a Variety of gaming platforms, within the last two decades, from consoles to portable gaming devices to mobile telephones. Now, Sora and friends are tackling a new medium of game : board games.
Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition is currently in Development in The OP (aka USAopoly), the company that publishes licensed versions of classic games such as Monopoly, Clue, and Risk predicated on pop culture properties such as Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, and Marvel. Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition is based on Warhammer manufacturer Games Workshop’s Talisman: The Magical Quest Game, the traditional tabletop game which was first published more than 25 decades back and is now in its revised fourth edition.
The Kingdom Hearts-inspired Model of Talisman As Sora, Kairi, Riku, King Mickey, and Goofy, gamers will want to”acquire the needed Strength and Magic to secure the Door into Darkness and maintain Heartless from consuming the communal worlds,” according to an official press release.
Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition will feature a Game board with three regions (including places like Neverland and Traverse City), custom six-sided dice, Munny-themed money, and the requisite Disney-fueled nostalgia.
USAopoly announced a licensing deal with Games Workshop earlier this year. Here’s a look at the box artwork from their first game under that venture, Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition.
Release of Kingdom Hearts Talisman will be in second part of 2019.
