Final Fantasy 8 Remastered will be released on September 3 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam and will cost $19.99 USD.
A lot of fans are kind of disappointed that Square Enix has just remastered Final Fantasy 8 and didn’t remake it. Though we should at least appreciate the fact that we don’t have to wait more years for its release.
Final Fantasy 8 Remastered gameplay
This remastered version of the game will feature the ability to switch off encounters and also the ability to play scenes at thrice the speed. The description also says that “HP and ATB will always be maxed out, and Limit Breaks are available to trigger at any time.” And another very useful update is that Final Fantasy 8 Remastered will be compatible with Full HD (1920 x 1080) displays. Now the players can finally understand why Rinoa thought Squall at that school dace has the most handsome guy and acknowledge Edea’s sorceress eleganza in a very high definition. But not only Squall and Edea will look better, all the character models will be in higher definition.
