B.R.U.T.E. is the latest death machines in Fortnite’s latest season and it can be operated by one or two players. This machine is quite powerful and is able to do quite a few severely damaging things.
Player roles in BRUTE
One of the players in this machine is the pilot, the one that will be able to control all of BRUTE’s movements. These movements also include super jumping, dashing and stomping when in mid-air.
The other player in this machine is called the gunner and naturally this player is in control of B.RU.T.E.s weapons. These weapons are a shotgun and a quite powerful missile launcher.
AS mentioned before this death machine has two weapons – a shotgun and a missile launcher. Here are the stats for these weapons:
Shotgun Effects – Clip Size: 10, Damage: 50;
Missile Launcher Effects – Fires up to 10 missiles in one time, Holding down trigger loads missiles
BRUTE over-shield Mechanic
In addition to very damaging weapons BRUTE also has an over-shield mechanic that can help to protect and sustain the players while in the vehicle. For the over-shield to last for 5 seconds it will use up to 200 of any material.
BRUTE in contact with enemy fire
While the BRUTE with the powerful weapons and over-shield may seem invincible its important to remember that it isn’t. If the over-shield on the B.R.U.T.E.s head is down you are exposed and very venerable to enemy fire. So, remember to fight aggressively only when the shield is up.
One player can control B.R.U.T.E.
Though BRUTE is positioned as a two player mech it can be controlled by one player too. The trick is just switching seats that may be a disadvantage in a more challenging fight, because you will not be able to move and shoot at the same time.
Players are not pleased with B.R.U.T.E.
While the description of this death vehicle may sound appealing, a lot of players and even professional players are hating on the latest Fortnite mech B.R.U.T.E.
