Pokémon Go New event: Shiny Bonsly and increased gift storage

Pokémon Go has created a new event and this time it will be celebrating friends. This Pokemon Go event will be happening for two weeks from August 5th at 4 p.m. ET until August 19th 4 p.m. ET. Also, what’s exciting is that there will be a lot of gift-related bonuses in this game during this time.

Eggs will hatch faster during Pokemon Go event

During this Pokemon Go event time each egg that you will get from a gift will have a two kilometer egg instead of the usual seven kilometer egg, but the trick here is that the pool of Pokémon in the egg will be the same as you could normally find in a seven kilometer egg. And as a result of this, the eggs that you will get from gifts will hatch way faster than usually.

Pokemon Go event will introduce Bonsly

And the second exciting thing that’s going to happen during this event is that it will introduce players to Shiny Bonsly and Sudowoodo that evolves from Bonsly. Which means that you can try your luck here and try hatching a Shiny Bonsly from the eggs you get from gifts.

Also, Pokemon Go players will be able to hold up to 20 gifts at once in the inventory. And as for gift opening, players will be able to open up to 30 gifts per day, exclusively only during the time of this event.

Don’t forget that there is a Pokémon Go Community day happening and there is a Rayquaza raid happening till September 2.

Bonsly and Sudowoodo in Pokemon Go event

Bonsly is a rock type Pokémon with abilities such as sturdy or rock head and a hidden ability called rattled and Sudowoodo has the same abilities.  Bonsly is a great mimic and you can often mistake him for an actual bonsai tree, but if you are in a place where there is no greenery, then it’s just way too easy to spot him. Whats interesting is that you can often find Bonsly crying and it has nothing to do with his sadness or anything. He cries simply because of the excess moisture in his body. If he gets too damp with moisture he just dies. It is the same with Sudowoodo, he avoids wet places at all costs, he hates water.
