Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD will have optimized controls

The remastered Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD the seventh title in the Super Monkey Ball series is set to be released worldwide on October 29, 2019. The original Super Monkey Ball Adventure was released as a launch title for Wii system in 2006. Now the games publisher Sega has announced that the game will do away with the motion control of the original in favor of “tightened analog controls” that have been optimized for each platform.

Looks like the creators of the game are looking back at the most criticized thing after the original Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz release for Wii. Players didn’t like the games motion controls on the Wii Remote. Super Monkey Ball is already a difficult game and with the Wii Remote it became even more challenging.

Thursday there was a new gameplay trailer released for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD and we now can see how the game will actually look like on modern platforms.

The official game description is:

“Hold onto your bananas, because Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD is rolling your way! Experience the magic of one of the most beloved titles in the series, now remastered in HD! Head back into the fantastical world of Super Monkey Ball and take back your bananas from the space alien pirate king, Captain Crabuchin. Race through over 100 colorful stages and challenge your friends and family to 10 fan-favorite Party Games! Feeling like the fastest, most maneuverable monkey around? Try out Time Attack mode or the grueling Decathlonendurance run! Will you make it onto the scoreboard?”

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD will be available on Xbox One, Play Station and Nintendo Switch on October 29, 2019 and it is available now for pre-order. But for Windows PC the game will come in 2019.
