Diablo IV is officially announced for PS4, PC and Xbox One

On the opening keynote of the annual BlizzCon celebration, Blizzard Entertainment finally announced the game we have all been waiting for – Diablo IV.

Alongside Diablo IV announcement two trailers were released. One trailer is a stunning cinematic trailer and the other is the first gameplay trailer.

Blizzard also gave us a short description of Diablo IV and what to expect from it:

“Diablo IV takes place many years after the events of Diablo III, after millions have been slaughtered by the actions of the High Heavens and Burning Hells alike. In the vacuum of power, a legendary name resurfaces.”

The developers who were on the stage presenting the game spoke about returning to the Diablo franchise’s dark origins that include gore, blood and occult symbols. They described the game in three words: “Darkness, World, Legacy.” The game will be “truly gothic, dark, and medieval version of hell.” For players to be able to “murder each other” player versus player zones will be included. We already have three classes revealed – the druid, the sorceress and the barbarian.

Diablo IV will be released for platforms – Pc, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A specific release date or even a time window was not announced.

Diablo Immortal – Diablo franchise mobile game new trailer was also released on BlizzCon.
